  • Large Multigrain Loaf 1.1kg
  • 200 g fresh cheese
  • A slice of Parma ham
  • 30g feta cheese
  • A few cherry tomatoes (red and yellow)
  • A few cooked asparagus spears
  • A few raw button mushrooms
  • 1 fresh fig
  • A few radishes
  • A few strawberries
  • A few fresh peas
  • Cream of beetroot soup
  • A few fresh mint leaves
  • A few fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • olive oil
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Edible flowers (optional)

  • Slice the bread on the bias to obtain slices about 1.5cm thick.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the slices of bread.
  • Toast one side of the bread slices in the oven on the grill setting for about 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, wash and dry the cherry tomatoes, asparagus, mushrooms, fig, strawberries, peas, basil and mint.
  • Chop the ingredients as required.

Toast 1: Cherry Tomatoes, Feta and Basil

  • Spread the slice of bread with fromage frais.
  • Arrange the cherry tomato halves on top of the cheese and a few pieces of feta cheese.
  • Season with a little salt, pepper and a drizzle of olive oil. 
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves.

 

Toast 2: Parma ham and asparagus

  • Spread the slice of bread with fresh cheese.
  • Wrap the asparagus in the Parma ham and arrange on the cheese.
  • Add a few drops of balsamic vinegar for seasoning.

 

Toast 3: Mushrooms and baby sprouts

  • Spread the slice of bread with fromage frais.
  • Arrange the mushroom slices on the cheese.
  • Add a few baby sprouts for decoration.
  • Season with a little salt, pepper and a drizzle of olive oil.

 

Toast 4: Figs and Honey

  • Spread the slice of bread with fromage frais.
  • Arrange the pieces of fig on the cheese.
  • Add a few mint leaves for decoration.
  • Season with a little salt, pepper and a drizzle of olive oil.

 

Toast 5: Beetroot and Feta cheese

  • Spread the slice of bread with a thin layer of beetroot cream.
  • Arrange the pieces of radish and feta cheese on top.
  • Add a few mint leaves for decoration.
  • Season with a little salt and pepper.

 

Toast 6: Strawberries, peas and honey

  • Spread the slice of bread with fromage frais.
  • Arrange the pieces of strawberry on the cheese, along with the fresh peas.
  • Drizzle with honey.
  • Garnish with a few mint leaves.

 

Arrange all the slices of bread on a platter and decorate with a few edible flowers, if desired.
